Sony, Nikon, really need this feature for Video

Sony and Nikon have good 4k video, Canon does not. However, Canon stays ahead in the vlogging game because many of their camera models have the fully articulating touchscreen. Perhaps Sony and Nikon have not caught on to how awesome this particular feature is and how important it is for vloggers. I am here to tell them.

So, Kodak's stock went up lately because they announced that they are going to issue their own Cryptocurrency. I feel like there's definate insider trading going on in this one as many on their board quickly cashed out after the gain. I don't believe in this coin and the platform at all.

No, that is not a typo. Hasselblad has just released a 400mp multi-shot camera for a mere $47,000, pocket change to most of us, right? The sensor is only 100mp, but using pixel-shift and stitching, it can produce a 400mp image that is good for certain applications. Will you buy one?

Nikon Needs to Update its 50mm and 85mm lens with Image Stabilization

Nikon has a great lens lineup and has image stabilization throughout its entire range. But there are two lenses that could be improved with image stabilization added that don't currently have it and they are two of the more popular focal lengths.

Nikon's New 180-400mm F/4 lens

So Nikon just announced their new 180-400mm f/4 lens for a whopping $12400. It comes with a built in 1.4x teleconverter which makes it an effective 265-560 f/5.6 lens. This raises the question, if you wanted a 265-560 f/5.6 lens, why not just save yourself $11,000 and buy the 200-500 f/5.6 lens instead. I think Nikon could have spent their R&D money on other things.

Back at Everglades National Park

The last two days, I returned to Everglades National Park. The main park near homestead is not the best place to photography wildlife, Shark Valley visitor center is much better for Alligators and birds. I also defeated an alligator in Mortal Kombat.

Today I went to the Fountain of Youth, bought a bottle and filled it with the elixir of immortality. By drinking this water, I am now Immortal and have gained many great powers. Tomorrow I will go photograph birds in the everglades and challenge an Alligator to Mortal Kombat.
