Return to the Apostles
Returned to one of my favorite Wisconsin spots, only for half a day at the Apostle Islands. Really cold this time in Mid-September. Did not get to go Kayaking as we planned. I did get some good pictures of the sunrise though:

Claiming the lands of Illinois
Went this weekend to claim the lands of Illinois(minus its corruption) for the glory of the Bob Empire. Charles Mound is about a 1.25 mile walk from the parking spot. Its an easy hike and has a few good landscape views at the top. Here I am, claiming the land of Illinois:
Settlers and Playcatan.com
Well, I usually just use this blog to blog about pictures and travel, I figured it'd be a decent place just to blog about random stuff as well. This time its going to be about the game Settlers and especially, playing it on playcatan.com. Now, settlers is a game of strategy but also has a large luck element to it. However, placements, ports, where to put the robber, and other factors do play a large part in if you win or lose. (...)
Chain O' Lakes State Park
On the way to Chicago, I made a stop at Chain O' Lakes State Park . While the park does contain lakes formed by the inlet of the fox river, the lakes aren't that scenic, but the Praire landscape is.
