Finally made it to the Nation's Capital after 3 days of driving and got the explore the monuments and everything. Congress, the building, like the people in it, was under construction. I, of course, campaigned in front of congress to become Lord of the Realm.

Blue Ridge Parkway
I also took time in Virginia to visit the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. Best during the fall, but decent at any time during the year. Got some great sunsets such as these:

Shenandoah National Park
Shenandoah National Park is a long and narrow park with many peaks and waterfalls. Great view from Skyline drive as well as many great hiking trails. The best time to go visit in my opinion is in the fall, but since I didn't have that option, I made due with visiting in early spring.

Our nation's capital is quite a site to behold. The white house, congress, and many other things. Here's how it looks on a good day:
There were lots of tourists and everyone was concentrated in the stretch from the Lincoln memorial to Capital Hill(Congress). (...)
Spruce Knob
The next destination on the map for me was Spruce Knob, the higest point in West Virginia and the higest summit within the Allegheny Mountains and Monogahela National Forest. This summit had quite a few more scenic views than the last two.
