Biking from Madison to Sauk City

Another Biking adventure Video Series. The route from Madison to Sauk City is about 45 miles out and back for me. it crosses several bike trails and many miles of backroads and finally crosses the Wisconsin River before arriving at Sauk City.

Freshwater Drum(sheepshead) hitting hard at Jefferson Dam

Going to a small pond with no fish first and the to Babcock county park. Caught 1 bass there after a few hours and decided to go to fish camp, only to find there were too many boats for me to fish off the dock. Finally decided to go to Jefferson Dam. After catching nothing for the first hour and a half, I put on a purple worm lure around dusk and that's when all the fish started hitting. Three Freshwater Drum within 40 minutes.

Almost got skunked fishing, but last location saved me

Spent Sunday running all over Southern Wisconsin trying to catch fish but Salmo Pond, Lake Wisconsin, and Prairie Du Sac Dam were all very disappointing. I headed back to crystal lake at almost dusk and managed to salvage what was left of the day by hooking three bass.

Canon's EOS R5 is going to be under $4000

Depsite it being price at over $6000 on an Australian site, the EOS R5 has been confirmed to be under $4000, most likely in the $3.5k range to compete with the A7R4 and the Z8.

Biking Tour around Lake Monona

Last time, we went around Lake Mendota for cycling, this time we will go around the smaller lake, Monona. It is a beautiful around the trails with many neighborhoods and bike paths. It was a great day so there were many people on the trail.

The Bass Keep biting at Crystal Lake when I'm Bluegill fishing!

I went fishing at Crystal lake, about 30 minutes from my house, mainly for bluegill. However, the Bass just kept biting the bait to no end. Got so many takes and managed to reel in 5 , with the last one being the biggest one so far this year. Crystal lake lives up to its name of being a bass lake indeed.

Catching Small Bass at Tenney Park

I love me some fishing and I had to get a good start to the season so I went to Tenney Lagoon where I knew there were plenty of small fish just waiting to be caught. To my surprise, this time it was small bass and no the usual panfish. Still, this did not stop a legendary fisherman for catching his fish.

Devil's Lake State Park Hiking

Devil's lake is one of the best hiking spots in the state. It features scenic viewpoints, a lot of ups and downs for exercise, beaches, canoes, and lots of wildlife. It is one of Wisconsin's most complete state park out there. The loop around the lake is part of the ice-age trail and takes a few hours to finish, but is great for a morning or afternoon hike.

DJI to be kicked out the USA by July?

DJI has lost a court case on patent infringement and may be kicked out of the USA by July. This would be a huge blow and could reset the USA drone industry as DJI is the 900LB gorilla in the field. However, this patent almost looks like it would prevent most drone makers from competing with the company(also Chinese) that brought up the lawsuit as the generic design is one that most, if not all, drones follow.

I love biking and since I got a GoPro 5 and all the mounts, I decided to make a video about the short 22 mile ride around Lake Mendota including many of the neighborhoods, parks, and other places to see around the trail. You can check them all out in this video:
