I went to Wisconsin Dells again to fish for Flatheads and it delivered!! I managed to get a 25lb flathead early on but failed to get the other bites afterwards. But it was still a good night with plenty of other fish too.
Went to Lake Wisconsin to fish for Big Fish and was Not disappointed in the results. Caught 4 carp about 10 pounds and a 9 pound catfish. Overall, a Really good day. I also saw a 40lb flathead that was floating dead, which was sad because I wanted to catch it.
I ended up going to Wisconsin Dells to fish for a monster fish but got a huge bluegill bite at dusk. Dozens of Bluegill were swarming the bait at Dells creek and all of them were big! There were a lot of smaller flathead bites at dark as well but nothing of size.
I went fishing from a Sandbar in the Middle of the Wisconsin River. It turned out to be a multispecies trip with non-stop action from 6 different species and a few species that just wouldn't hook. A great time.
I went to the Sauk Dam again to do a Youtube Collab with other Southern WIsconsin FIsherman. Was pretty quiet until it got dark. But then, we rescued a huge paddlefish and hooked and landed a 66-inch Lake Sturgeon.
I went fishing at the Prairie Du Sak Dam for Big Sturgeon and I caught a 54 incher during the day. I also caught several Catfish and a bunch of other fish while I was there. Still, no sign for a flathead though.
The fishing at Watertown Dam was impossible since the water level was high. I went to the Island Park instead where the flow was much slower. The catfish were biting hot but nothing else really was but I still caught about 10 fish.
