 Spotted Rattlesnake. Mitchell
The snake in the image shows the physical characteristics of a rattlesnake, most likely a species from the genus Crotalus. Based on the shape of the head and the scale structure, this snake closely resembles one of the following three species: Western Diamondback Rattlesnake (Crotalus atrox): One of the best-known and most widespread rattlesnakes, recognizable by the diamond-shaped patterns. Texas Rattlesnake (also Crotalus atrox): Known for its potent venom and defensive behavior. Tiger Rattlesnake (Crotalus tigris): A species with a relatively small head compared to its body, but with very powerful venom.
