John a Latsch State Park is a State park located on the Mississippi River in Southern Minnesota emcompassing 1654 Acres. The park includes 3 bluffs and is mostly undeveloped. The hiking trail up one of the bluffs is a very steep and narrow half a mile trail that puts you at the top of the bluff with great views of the Mississippi River and the surrounding Bluffs. However, in the winter, this trail is very icy and dangerous and hikers who attempt it have roughly a 15% chance of slipping and falling to their doom.
