Bass Hunting on the Madison Chain

I went to Babcock first to fish for whatever was under the dam with Big Fatheads and only got a smallmouth there and then went to the Monona Wall and night and finally got some good largemouth.

Stacked Bass Pond

I went to Waunakee because I have been saying that I would do that for a while now to catch some bass. Did not go to the Big Pond that everyone goes to but went to a smaller neighborhood pond. Caught a dozen bass but none were that big.

Fishing for whatever bites on the lower Wisconsin

I went down to the lower Wisconsin between Sauk City and Prairie Du Sac and fished off Riverfront Park. The water was still very high and the bugs were biting pretty hard. Despite that, I did managed to get a few fish.

Canoe Fishing on Devil's Lake

Switched it up a bit and went Canoe fishing on Devil's lake with Fathead minnows under a bobber. The lake is stocked with tens of thousands of trout every year from the DNR and they are usually hungry. Due to the hot weather, they were biting quite as good as usual but we still managed to catch five or 6 fish.

Epic Channel Catfish Fight in Lake Mendota

Went to Warner Park Boat Launch to fish with bass with Minnows but I ended up hooking a big Catfish with my smaller rod. The drag was screaming and I didn't know if I could get it in.

Caught my PB Bass

I decided to go shore fishing on Lake Monona but there was a water show going on so I retreated to machinery row. Throw some worms under a bobber and caught my PB bass. I finally got a Monona Carp at night as well.

Sturgeon Fishing Crazy on the Wisconsin

I went to the only boat ramp on the Lower Wisconsin that didn't seem to be flooded and it was filled with shovelnose and lake sturgeons. I could not get them to stop biting my bait!

Fishing Lake Wisconsin for whatever Bites

Went to fish Lake Wisconsin again for some big Carp and Buffalo. The high water did not have them biting as usual but the Drum and Bass were biting. There were white bass off the ferry landing as well.

Multi-species on the Sugar River

I went to Brodhead for the Family Fun fest and decided to fish the spillway and downstream afterwards. It was hard catching bluegills at the spillway since there were so many other fish there but it was stacked. I did manage to get a flathead downstream afterwards.

Bass Bite on Fire at Monona Terrace!

I went to Monona terrace since I did not feel like driving anywhere today. Was going for some crappie and they were just not hitting. However, I did get several good Bass from the wall.
