Claiming the lands of Illinois

Went this weekend to claim the lands of Illinois(minus its corruption) for the glory of the Bob Empire. Charles Mound is about a 1.25 mile walk from the parking spot. Its an easy hike and has a few good landscape views at the top. Here I am, claiming the land of Illinois:

This time its going to be about the game Settlers and especially, playing it on playcatan.com. Now, settlers is a game of strategy but also has a large luck element to it. After leaving North Dakota, I went in search of the source of the Mississippi and found it at Lake Itasca . As always I put my flag up at the headwaters and claimed all the lands that the Mississippi and its tributaries drain for the Empire of the Glorious Bob.
