So, the Canon G1X Mark III does not actually have an external Microphone port which means that they think the Camera's internal Microphone is good enough. But is it, compare it to a cheap $50 microphone and the Nikon D750's internal Microphone to see if its good enough for you.

In this video I test the image stabilization capabilities of the Canon G1X Mark III and see if it actually has its CIPA rated 4 stops of image stabilization. I am testing at 72mm and will go from a shutter speed of 1/80 all the way to .8 seconds to test the limits of its image stabilization.
