Canada Geese (Branta canadensis) are swimming in the Delaware and Raritan Canal within a local park in New Jersey, USA. They are highly adaptable creatures, frequently found in urban parks, lakes, and cultivated habitats where they graze on grasses and seeds. These geese are known to be monogamous, often mating for life, and can become quite territorial and aggressive during breeding season.
