Venus Optics makes a 2x Macro lens for Canon M, Sony E, and Fuji

Venus optics has made a 2x macro lens for Fuji, Sony E, and Canon M mounts. This can capture incredible detail from an APS-C based camera and let people get really close to the subject they are photographing.

Fuji X-T200 leaked image and specs

Fuji leaked an image of the XT-200 and some specs for the XT-100 update. The camera will have the same 24.2mp sensor but a flippy screen and shoot 4k/30p. It lacks in-body stabilization but will have electronic IS instead.

Canon releasing 4 full-frame Cameras in 2020, including one at $700-$800?

Canon is releasing 4 new full-frame cameras in 2020 including one below $800. They will also be releasing more affordable RF lenses since people generally are not interested in putting $8000 glass on a $800 camera.

Fuji X-Pro 3 has viewfinder issues

Fuji X-Pro rangefinder line of camera has been hit with a problem with the EVF. The EVF sometimes becomes too white to use. This was reported by one user and after that several other users followed. Hopefully Fuji can fix this problem and won't have to issue a recalled because of a large scale defect.

Sony A7IV may have flippy screen! Canon dominates all camera categories in Japan.

The Sony A7IV is rumored to have a flippy screen, which is something the community has been wanting for years. I think one of the Canon EOS R's main selling points over the A7III and the Z6 is the fully articulating screen. Canon also dominates all categories of Camera sales(DSLR, Mirrorless, and compact) in Japan.

Samsung Galaxy S20 has 108mp Camera and 100x zoom

The new Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra is reported to have a main camera of 108mp and a zoom of up to 100x, almost as high as the 125x of the Nikon P1000. However, shoving a large lens to get that zoom isn't an option on the phone and it would have to reply on a hybrid digital and optical zoom.

Canon EOS R II rumored specs and Evo II drone.

We have rumors of the Canon EOS R II specs and also the release of the Evo II and Evo II Pro drone. The Canon EOS R II sports a 32mp sensor as well as IBIS and 2 card slots(1 for CF express and 1 for SD), all of which are improvements over the original EOS R. The Evo II drone has 41 mins of flight time and a 48mp camera plus 8k video!

Sony, Canon, Fuji, all to announce new cameras soon.

There are exciting releases planned up ahead and Sony seems to be ready to launch the A7IV, Fuji the XT-4, and Canon the 75mp EOS R, all in February. I'm most excited about the Canon and the Fuji as 75mp is breaking records and the addition of IBIS to the XT-4 will be big and allow old lenses without IS to be used in different ways.

Canon only making RF lenses now? No more EF?

Canon may finally be moving out of DSLR after their 1DX-III and not make any more EF lenses and only make RF. As one Canon rep said, they are focusing primarily on RF lenses and only make EF "as demand requires". This may finally the signal the end of DSLR for Canon.
