On the road past Alberta, I stopped at
Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park and then stopped at Hutch
Lake to camp for the night. Lesser Slave lake was nice but it would
be nicer if it wasn't cloudy:

. I also stopped at Hutch Lake to camp.
Nothing at night but got a decent landscape shot in the morning.

The Canadian provinces are beautiful due to the lack of people and the pristine nature of the landscape. Just forty minutes out of Saskatoon, and you run into this:
Northern Canada is a huge expanse of Taiga Shield without farms because you reach the arctic Tundra. You really get a sense of being along out there.
Next stop on the roadtrip,
Saskatoon. The city is about the
size of a mid-size city in the States but has a large river flowing
through the center. Check out the skyline.

Next we head to
Winnipeg, Manitoba. The city looks great at night and
has some buildings to see. Best place to see the skyline is from
the Pedestrian bridge.
Winnipeg isn't a huge city so it doesn't have a massive skyline.
You can check out the capital (...)

Finally I went on another road trip(first multi-day one since
September) to one of my favorite places - Northern Minnesota along
the shorelines of Lake superior. I've been up here several times
before but only during the summer, never in the depths of winter.
This was a first. Luckily, this year has been one of the warmest
ever in terms of winter temperatures so it wasn't completely
freezing outside. I visited Grand Marais, Cascade River, Temperance
River, and Gooseberry Falls. They looked (...)

I journeyed about 3 hours Northeast of Ontario to
Algonquin Provincial Park, one of the largest
provincial parks in Ontario and the largest one accessible by road.
It was cloudy while I was there so I didn't get much of the blue
sky but I did get some scenic shots.
