High oblique, facing south showing the Blount Island Command, a USMC Maritime Prepositioning Facility on the St. John River north of Jacksonville. Blount Island is responsible for the maintenance of this facility, 13 deployed Maritime Prepositioning Ships (MPS) ships as well as the land prepositioning program in Norway. The facility is supported by Fleet Marine Force, Navy, Army and Coast Guard personnel.
