Trip to Cadiz Springs

Went to Cadiz Springs State Park today. It was cold, maybe around 40 F temperature wise. Wasn't too bad hiking. Nearly all of the non-pine trees in the wilflife area had lost the leaves but there were plenty of evergreens so the color wasn't too drab. Yellowstone Lake State Park trip

Perhaps the last warm day of the year around the Wisconsin Area. Decided to take the chance and visit Yellow Lake State Park. It was a pretty scenic place, especially with the sky and the clouds. No colors though as the trees had already lost all their leaves for the winter. Rock Cut State Park

Went to Rock Cut State park, the largest state park in Northern Illinois yesterday to take photos and to hike. I was a bit disappointed because most of the park was closed for Deer Hunting through Sunday. Lake Olson was accessible but unfortunately Lake Pierce(the bigger of the two lakes) was not.
